A native of Southeastern New Mexico, Dr. Andrews is from Hagerman where he graduated in 1979. He obtained college credits while in high school from Eastern New Mexico University and attended Abilene Christian University prior to attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, where he obtained his Doctorate in 1984.
Over the past 30 years he has been very involved in the Chiropractic profession, and has owned and operated several offices in Arizona. Dr. Andrews taught post graduate classes for several years for The Pettibon Institute and in 2005 he was recognized as the Instructor of the Year. Soon after this he was promoted to the position of Director of Continuing Education and as an associate professor for Palmer University and Parker University, he taught post-gradate education classes throughout the United States and Canada. These courses included Advanced Examination Procedures, Diagnosis, X-ray, Rehabilitation, Chiropractic Adjusting Techniques, and Spinal Decompression.
He was also instrumental in developing software for the Chiropractic profession during this time. In addition to teaching, Dr. Andrews has always been a consummate student and has attended over 2000 hours of continuing education and training classes. He is proficiency rated in multiple Chiropractic Techniques, holds advanced certification in Spinal Trauma and Whiplash, and is a Fellow in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture.
He has been married to his beautiful and amazing wife Donita for over 20 years, and they have two awesome children, both of whom currently attend New Mexico Military Institute. In 2010, an opportunity was available for he and his family to move back to New Mexico to be closer to their family, which they readily accepted. Dr. Andrews is excited to be back "home", and is dedicated to bringing all the years of experience and education to the people of the Pecos Valley to serve their needs to the highest degree possible.
