I have had first hand experience with them. If anyone, such as school Counselor's or Department of Child Protection recommends to you to take your child to this institution for an evaluation. If you have any care for your family you will (run) do whatever it takes to not walk into that institution.

If you notice, the WWVCP Intake Specialist title is: Intake Specialist/Marketing Specialist. I am not joking. I also know they will go behind your back and contact Department of Child Services to force you to come back if they can convince them your child's life depends on their service and will not allow you to go anywhere else until they are finished. If they convince DCS, they will use the police to escort you back. Also, without giving out names they prescribe medications without doing full assessments. After our experience we had to go get a second opinion and prove to DCS and others that the WWVCP diagnosis was incorrect. I also know that it is a very chaotic and dangerous place for a child to reside. They are also on the list by Connecticut Law who exposes how DCS violates our rights and DCS uses WWVCP as a service for Fayette County youth. This is a list of institutions to stay away from.... Whitewater Valley Care Pavilion is definitely a place to stay away from.
