I have been going to UMC for over 18 months now for a neck injury which has prevented me from working, complaining of constant pain, numbness of the left side, and vertigo. So far all I have received is a condescending attitude that this is only a minor complaint. I have had promises that appointments will be made to see someone about this, but after 18 months these are just promises. I have called myself to attempt to make an appointment, but they refuse to do so. Although four (4) separate doctors have recommended surgery (fusion), I have been treated like this is of no concern to them. So far all I have been able to do is go to the ER, and all they want to do is give me pain killers that leave me incoherent for hours. I do not want to live my life like this.
