My father was admitted here after having shortness of breath related to his COPD. My father also suffers from a clotting disorder and has had blood clots in his legs in the past. Whenever you are in the hospital for a long period of time, a decent doctor makes certain, care is taken to avoid blood clots in normal people. But for my father, who had a history of clots (and the hospital and Dr. Mishra knew this) nothing was done to prevent him from getting a clot. For 11 days he was in that hospital bed with no one walking him, giving him anti-clotting shots, no TED stockings, no boots, NOTHING.

Shortly after we were finally able to get him out of this dump, he had to go to the emergency room (of a different hospital) because of a blood clot in his leg.

I cannot speak to other attending physicians in this hospital, but avoid Dr. Mishra at all costs. He is incompetent.
