If I could rate this hospital with no stars that would be better to describe our experience. Every experience we have had with this hospital has been horrid. They do not treat each patient respectively according to their illness, they treat according to what type of medical coverage you have.if you don't have what they prefer you are better off taking a drive to either San Antonio or Fredericksburg. I had a blood clot in my leg, didn't ever get a visit from an actual doctor, had both arms horribly bruised up because the nurses were in a hurry and angry that they had to be reminded several times to start the IV so I could have a CT scan with dye contrast done asap. After everything a doctor still never came to my room to talk to me and my son. Extremely unprofessional, crude, incredibly lacking in proper patient care. I highly recommend avoiding this facility like the plague.

It is such a shame that Kerrville has such a nice Hospital (building) however the care is terrible. Both of my parents have been patients there during different times and both of them were released with bed sores or wounds as they tend to call them nowadays. The nurses do not rotate them in the bed as they are supposed to. Kerrville is such a beautiful place and it's a shame that with the elderly population the care at the hospital isn't better. Most people I have spoken with feel the same - you would think they would try to improve their reputation. Thank goodness Fredericksburg has such a great hospital and is close by.
