Very deceptive business practices in the business of orthotics and insurance. Floor price for orthotics is 475.00 if you have no ins but 690.00 to insurance carrier so your out of pocket is higher when you do not have 100% coverage. They ask for 100.00 deposit before ordering but do not take any time to advise you of what you costs could be. I was told 100% coverage and they moved my appointment up to be sure they utilized the insurance approval but I would of been presented with a 340.00 bill when I went to pick them up. What a shame as the Doctor seemed to be decent but the staff, especially billing, leaves much to be desired. Kelly Bruce, billing manager, thought that this was all ok. Someone needs to review this and CDHDP has been informed.

I had a foot injury. The doctor examined me and had me X rayed. I was given a moon boot to wear and advised that an out of state pharmacy would call me for an anti inflammatory cream to use on my foot.

The out of state pharmacy was a joke. They are a compounding pharmacy with their own formulas. They did not take my Medicare Advantage program and wanted to charge me a "discounted" $160 for it.
So, I was unable to get it.

I was assured by the nurse and the office worker who checked me out that my insurance fully covered my boot. I asked numerous times.
At check out I paid for the office visit co pay and asked about the co pay for the X ray. I was assured that there was no co pay for that.

Now, I get a bill for the boot and the X ray co pay. This is a ludicrous and deceitful office practice.

I would not recommend this practice and its Pelosi like billing methods.
They should know the major insurance policies and not "wait till the bill is passed to know what's in it".
