I feel fairly confident that Dr. Boderman did a good job in prescribing my new lenses. I did feel a little bit rushed though when I began asking questions about Lasik - he wanted me to make another appointment for that, which I could sort of understand. I would have liked for him to have measured me for contacts as well at this appointment, but I wasn't totally upset by this either because right now I'm wearing my glasses anyway, not my contacts - it would have been nice though. WHAT REALLY UPSET ME about my experience at this practice was how rushed I felt picking out my new frames. I was being handed frames by a very impatient, pushy woman who initially did not seem to want to give me ANY opportunity to select my own. It got to a point where I had to remind her that I would be paying good money for these new glasses and wanted to be able to look in the mirror and not regret my decision down the road, and that I (therefore) wanted the opportunity to look over the frame selection myself. Dr. Boderman eventually put contacts in so that I could see what I was doing, which helped (though it could have been done sooner), and this woman did eventually give me maybe 3 minutes to myself, but through much of the selection process she was sitting right there across from me, bringing me her selections and watching me try them on. I felt so stressed and so pressured to make a decision - she may as well have been tapping her foot. As a result, I do NOT feel confident that I will like my new frames. IF I return to this practice again in the future, it will only be for an eye exam, and I will get my frames and lenses somewhere else. There was no reason to be rushed like this.

Dr. Boderman was my eye doc for years. I trusted him completely! We had to leave his care when his office dropped our insurance. Over time, we tried many eye care professionals. No one has yet compared to the excellent service and care we received with Dr. Borderman. Every now and then, I check back to see if our insurance has been added, sadly, it has not. IMO, he is the best in the Lehigh Valley. I wish we could return!
