Cheryl needs to check her health coverage DME coverage is different than your doctor visit coverage! And Bath Seats ARE NOT COVERED by your insurance! You may not have 100% coverage so you may have a co-in do the correct research before you accuse them of something that are not doing!

I received a walker, commode, and bath seat after foot surgery. They came to the rehab hospital with the items. All seemed fine, until I got the bill. I have good insurance with Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield who paid the allowable amount for the items. Able said that I still owe $146. When I called my local pharmacy to inquire on the cost of those items if I paid outright without insurance it would only be $175.00. I believe Able is inflating their prices, having the insurance company pay for it, and then now turning around for me to pay for it again too. I would go elsewhere to a company that will accept the allowable amounts by the insurance company.
