Just had great toe hemi implant today so I can't review the actual results now. However I wanted to thank Dr Massey and the entire staff at Lake Norman Regional for making a somewhat scary procedure into a pleasant adventure. Dr Massey was thorough, understanding, and honest. Would recommend him definitely. And the entire staff was amazing, friendly and professional with a nice humorous twist. Thanks to all!!! Will write later about results.

I would never recommend this Doctor. In my case, I was not given truthful, accurate information about treatment. He told me the only treatment worth discussing for plantar fasciitis was cortisone shots. I had a severe reaction to a cortisone epidural 25 years ago and brought up my concern. He told me this was completely different, that the cortisone would stay local to where it had been injected and that there was no risk of a reaction like I had before. I was not told of a single side effect or risk of cortisone injections. Not. One. Foolishly consented and have had a miserable time with the side effects. Far worse than any pain I was having from my feet. And after more reading I find that there are plenty of more conservative treatments. Why would you not apprise someone with a history of a bad reaction of the possible side effects? Unethical.

Totally agree with the previous review about being talked down to.

When the office called me back after I left a message about the side effects I was having I was told that the only one that could possibly be from the injections was the high blood sugar and that I should call my primary care physician because the cortisone was causing anything else. (Do the research, there are lots of side effects - not common but lots - I had most of them). Then the staff member berated me for not telling them about a history of pre-diabetes. I pointed out that I have never had diabetes and my pre-diabetes has been resolved,. The only reason that I knew it was high was that I still had a meter and tested it once I started feeling weird and read up on the side effects. Let me get this right... It's ok for the doctor to not tell me about a single side effect but I'm at fault for not telling them about a condition I no longer have?? The staff member ended the conversation by hanging up on me.
