Dr. Korn has a wide range of clinical interests including cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelid and face, management of thyroid eye disease, eyelid and orbital tumors and disorders of the lacrimal outflow system.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Korn is an active researcher and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Korn has been invited to teach national and international lectures and courses. He was the recipient of multiple teaching awards and patient care awards. In his free time, he is a volunteer surgeon locally and internationally.

Dr. Bobby Korn is a board certified Ophthalmologist with subspeciality training in Oculofacial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has been a member of the UCSD Ophthalmology Department since 2002. He is a fellow of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. The field of Oculofacial Plastic Surgery focuses on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelid, adjacent face, lacrimal (tear drainage) system, and orbit (the bony cavity surrounding the eye). An oculofacial plastic surgeon such as Dr. Korn is an ophthalmologist (medical doctor and eye surgeon) who has completed additional training in plastic surgery as it relates to the eyes and their surrounding structures.
