It is a full service salon with a large staff of stylists well versed in all aspects of hair care including fades foils, perms,hair coloring and frosting's. At the core of this family salon is the $10.00 HAIR CUT (on short hair ) for men, women and children. Their individual salon service prices are the most reasonably priced services in Ocean County. And you can save even more money on your salon visit by '' BUNDLING'' services together on one visit. For example a shampoo and blow dry style is only $16.00 (on short hair). If you add a haircut at the same time it will only cost a total of $21.00 that's only $5.00 additional for a style& cut. BUNDLING saves money. At our prices everyone can afford to indulge themselves regularly and have beautiful hair.Other exciting examples of their beauty on a budget pricing philosophy are monthly single process hair coloring for only $27.00(color only/short hair) body or support permanent waves starting at $45.00 complete with haircut and style finish,and to add a burst of color,sparkle and shine to your hair you can add highlight or low light foils to your hair.For only $4.00 per foil (color only/ short hair) American Hair Lines is a family owned business where you will always find at least one of the owners on the premises.Great attention is given to every detail of all services offered , and customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance.You will never need an appointment, yet the owners promise their customers will never have to wait more than a few minutes to be served. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. I haven't seen any coupons or discounts for this provider's office, but I haven't really looked. They never mention anything about promotions when I'm there. I noticed their business license hanging on the wall right away when I walked in. It made me feel even more confident about going there. Getting an appointment at this office wasn't too difficult. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. Hag-riette the hostess was rude, but Angela made my visit worthwhile.

I walked in and was seated in a salons chair after five minutes as the staff was waiting for a late appointment. The appointment before me was over 20 mins late and when she walked into the door, I was removed from the chair and the late appointment then was seated in the chair I was just in.

I was there for a haircut and it doesn't take more then five minutes to cut my hair as I am a male and have short hair. I have been never treated like this at any establishment before or after this experience. I walked out and went to another establishment as there was "no explanation, sorry or a do you mind from the staff that day."

About a week later I stopped in to express my concern to the manger at the desk, whom gave me a blank stare and did not believe this happened at her salon. Again no apology or Sorry ever left the staffs mouth or the managements, which speaks volumes.
