My sister went to do her hair in this salon today and when she came back she was nearly in tears at the treatment she received in this salon the people were rude just because she is part of a bartering group not a regular customer.

When she entered the person who greeted her just shouted at the whole Salon that she was part of the barter group saying it in a tone that made it seem like she wasn't worth their time.

Then the women she had made an appointment with named Kristen said she couldn't do her hair so they asked several people and they all refused to see her. All of this happening in front of the owner who did not do anything to help her.

Finally there was one person who stepped up and said they could help her the ladys name is Megan she was apparently the only nice person in there.She just dyed her hair.

Then finally Kristen was able to see her but just to cut her hair and when she dried it she left her hair poofy.
Instead of offering a solution they literally gave my sister a straight iron so she could do her own hair.

Not have Kristen do it but have the customer straighten their own hair I have never heard of a salon doing this.

She went to this place specifically because it had good reviews talking about how nice and attentive the owner and people working at the salon were. She had been looking forward to her appointment the whole week and to just be treated the way she was is disheartening.

If you don't want to people who use cupons or bartering groups in your salon just make sure to put that on your website so that people know that they will not be welcome at your salon don't just shit on them when they get there and treat then like crap.

Amazing place, my son found my husbands beard trimmer and made lines all over his head the day before Thanksgiving. I heard about Carmela's before, but never had a chance to go. I called and explained my situation and they were just about to close, but they said they would wait for me to get there. When I got there I met Carmela who is a sweet Italian woman that made my son feel right at home and he got a great Hair Cut.
