I first went to see Abel in February 2012 upon the recommendation of one of the sales associates at Sally's Beauty Supply and have been going to him ever since. Abel is very professional in both his demeanor and work ethic. What I like most about Abel is his unique approach to caring for his patrons' hair. Unlike many beauticians, Abel takes the approach of that of a teacher. As an educator, I very much appreciate this style. He never applies any product to my hair without first advising me as to the reason(s) for using the product, the benefits of its ingredients and with prolonged use, what it is intended to achieve. Further, Abel's personality is quite affable and very customer oriented. He goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable. He's also very good at promoting the products that he uses, i.e., Mizani, as well as other products that can be found in the salon. He's very good for Beauty First. I hope that Beauty First continues to treat Abel well because I'm constantly advising him that he should establish his own salon. He is that good!!! I highly recommend his services.
