mother spent 9 days in facility after hip surgery, I found it necessary to move her to another facility because I felt any more time there and she wouldn't survive. Staff was pleasant but very short staffed and ill informed I frequently found her in puddle of feces.pain med was not given in timely fashion,food was left out of her reach at mealtimes or on 3 occasions she never received a tray, she lost over 9 pounds in a week.I bought sweat suits for her to wear for P.T, she started with 5 and left with 2 despite labels in all her clothing.Would not recommend this place for rehab.

My mother was placed at Pepper Hill last year for 6 months. Now the need has arisen again for her to have nursing care and rehab after a hip removal. We have already arranged to have her placed there after her surgery. I could go on and on about why I chose Pepper Hill for my Mom. She is always treated with the utmost respect and care. The staff goes above and beyond to treat their clients well both from a physical standpoint and a social aspect. Last visit, Mom's doctors said she would probably never be able to leave. Not so. The Rehab department worked with her the whole time and got her to be able to come back home to live again with my family. I can' say enough good things about Pepper Hill. If you have a decision to make with a loved one for nursing care, Pepper Hill is the place to be.
