Do not know how to treat a surgical patient. In eleven days bed sheet never changed. Only 1 shower. I guess to much to shower a surgical patient. Asked three times for pan to wash up never did get it. RN on couple of occasions left Medicine on tray did not wait to make sure I was taking them. Physical therapy did not know what to do for my rehab. Just did the time so could get Medicare. 16 staples and they put me on a bicycle for 30 mins.

The staff of Life Care Center of Citrus County are professional, courteous and very competant. My mother has been a guest at the facility three times since 1995. On her first stay at the age of 70, she recuperated from a broken hip to return to Ballroom Dancing in less than 6 months! The staff encouraged her and helped her to progress. 7 years later she had a TIA and fall. Her recovery was helped by both the occupational and physical therapists. She regained full mobility before returning home to be helping her favorite charities and activities. This past year, she was a long term guest as a result of a stroke which effected her vision. The care she received from the nurses was always personal, sincere and effective. I wholeheartedly recommend the facility and its staff.

Not the worst, but certainly not the best
