I am appalled at the stealing of residents belongings. My mother has so much clothes, a very special throw blanket and more taken from her so sad. Nothing gets done. I wanted someone to look in other residents rooms plus laundry. It is both residents and staff that does the stealing. They really do need security cameras at least in the hallways like most other places have these days due to elderly abuse. So many of the other residents also have things taken from them. I have been told by other residents it does no good to report it plus some residents just forget. I have never complained about her stuff being gone over the past 2 years but now this special blanket with I LOVE YOU all over it front and back.this upset me but she will never get it back.

This nursing home is sub par. They seem understaffed and often unskilled in what they are doing. How ever, the few good staff they do have really help the residents in their rehabilitation processes and development. The equipment and technology is good and overall they do help the residents, but they could use an overlook in their responsiveness.
