A nurse's aide caused physical trauma to my loved one, and in addition led to failure of their vital organs. I am so angry and cannot even believe this happened. The entire staff was completely nonchalant. The doctors push this place to the elderly and say it has a great rehab. This is not a place where people get better. This nurse's aide still works there and she is rough and mean. Also, a hazard. Once the doctor gets you in there, they breeze by,once a week, and barely look at you or talk to you. I feel that people are not kept well here,at all. I saw feces allover my loved one's pajamas and the aides ignored it and were not nice to them.
My loved one was completely DEHYDRATED! My loved one was so overmedicated that they could barely speak or pass the questions that ask someone to see if they're overmedicated. That is very standard there.
My loved one got horrible infections on their skin there, also. Horrible diaper rashes that were infected. The doctors that I saw my loved one, later, were absolutely appalled.
Some aides there were very nice. But that abusive woman needs to be fired.
A man I know went there, recently, and died about a week later.
This place, absolutely, shocked me.
Nothing was being done at all to help my relative! One of the nurse's aides was downright mean. They spoke disrespectfully to me about her bodily functions. Very, very unprofessional. I had an LPN get lippy with me.
The people I saw, often, were sedated and left unfed and dehydrating. My relative was acutely dehydrated.
I would be afraid to send anyone here. I know so many people, now, who tell me that their older parents were not treated well and died there.
