I had a knee replacement and went there for PT. I often get UTI's after surgery and I did this time, it showed up the 2 nd day I was there. I pleaded for antibiotics and they said that my urin had to be sent out to be cultured. When I visit my Doc for this cronic problem she gives me antibiotics and sends out for a culture and when the culture is back she adjusts the meds if necessary. I was in agony and by day 3 I was totally incontonent. Here is the unbelievable part, I asked them for a depends or even a panty liner and they said no, because I came there to get better and I didn't need anything like that upon arrival and how would it look in a chart because I had been brought there to progress not regress. I could not believe my ears! I hung in for 2 or 3 more days with no meds I had my husband smuggle me in supplies. I think it was day 4 or 5 that I finally left AMA. The very next morning I went to my Dr. and she could not believe it either. She did the basic dip test that they do in the office lit up like a Christmas tree I was feeling 100% better after 1 day on meds. 4 days later I got a call at home from Baptist saying I had a bladder infection and should have stayed so I could be properly medicated! They Suck. I have severe Rheumatoid arthritis and have had a minimum of 15 hospital stays and I have always been satisfied. I'm not the type of person that complains. I'm having my other knee replaced next month and I will never go there again for anything. You guys should have negative stars!

I have been searching the internet for over an hour trying to find a way to contact a manager, CEO, director or some kind of personnel in "corporate" and can not find one piece of information. My grandmother was admitted to this nursing home approximately a month ago. She has been suffering with Alzheimer's disease for almost 10 years now and it has become beyond our family's capability to give her the care she needs. Our family had heard nothing but good things about Baptist and felt confident placing her there. Were we ever wrong. When she was initially admitted, she was evaluated and they told us she had a "drop foot" and was placed in an AFO (ankle foot orthotic) which has severely hindered her walking capabilities. In the past month that she has been there, she has fallen 3 times, one of them resulting in a fractured foot. Last night a family member went to visit her and she was in a community room with no one that had the ability to communicate with her and no teeth (my grandmother was MORTIFIED). My family member bent down to kiss her and realized that she smelled terrible. Upon bringing my grandmother back to her own room, it was found that she had completely soiled herself and was not wearing the proper undergarments. We called for an aide who helped my grandmother get to the facilities and then said she would be right back. She never returned. After returning to the room and trying to find some clean clothes, it was discovered that everything in her dresser had not been folded but simply just "tossed" in there. We then told the nurses that my grandmother was not feeling up to eating in the dining room and she would be eating her room, they said that was fine. However, they never brought her dinner.

This was obviously an extremely hard decision to make to have her admitted here, and to find out that she isn't being taken care of is totally heartbreaking. I understand that sometimes facilities are short staffed and other problems arise, but in one month, she has declined so much that it is scary. While I understand declination in her health is going to be natural, it has happened way too fast and the care that she has received is 100% unacceptable. I am VERY disappointed in this facility.
