I was referred to Dr. Ziegler for acupuncture to treat severe neuropathy in my hands and feet after chemo for breast cancer. I was in so much pain 24-7, none of the medicine I was taking reduced my pain significantly. During our first meeting Dr. Ziegler explained how acupuncture would help the neuropathy and thought that after 12 weeks of treatment I should see a 40% decrease in pain. He was completely committed and focused on my issues.
During the twelve week period, my pain was decreased by at least 40% and I also knew that the acupuncture was helping to move those horrible, but life saving, chemo drugs out of my body, which can take up to a year, as I am told. I am so grateful for Dr. Ziegler's knowledge and care. It is rare these days to find a doctor who truly cares about each and every patient they see. I must also comment on the support staff at Advanced Health Center; they are truly wonderful and also very caring to their patients! It is so important to let other cancer survivors know that there are alternative and effective treatments available to help restore their health and wellness. Thank you Dr. Ziegler and staff for everything you do each day to bring top-notch care and wellness to your patients.
