Dr. Kalb does not spend more than 30 seconds with patients. He is condescending when asked to explain things, and can't get out of the room fast enough if you question him. You will wait over an hour and 1/2 to see him. Even at 8 am, he is already running 1/2 hour behind. He never shows you x-rays or explains them to you. Don't walk, RUN in the other direction. You do not need to put up with this lack of care.

I only wish that I would have consulted the internet before having my mother become his victim. He is not an expert in his field: he caused more pain and suffering for my mother who was quite active before her fall. He caused a "stress fracture" when placing her hip hardware, and he did not diagnose it for 2 weeks, AND during the surgery to correct the stress fracture he caused an infection that nearly ended my mother's life -- I don't know how a surgeon could want to continue practicing knowing that he is creating greater harm than help. He either needs to retire or get additional training because after we found a much better orthopedic surgeon to take over the case, the new surgeon said that there was a wire wrapped around her femur that was loose and "served no purpose"!!! Please retire Dr. Kalb, and leave orthopedic surgery to the experts.
