Dr. Goldberg performed 2 back surgeries on me (2 years apart) -1st laminectomy & 2nd fusion- both L5/S1. A fall led to 2nd surgery, nothing to do with 1st. Incredible doctor going 100% at my pace, encouraged exploring all options, thorough testing & explanations. Never rushed, always kind & compassionate. His secretary, nurses & front office staff are also kind & helpful. Back pain & surgery are scary & difficult enough without bringing the doubts of getting a good doctor. Dr. Goldberg & St Peter's spine & neurosurgery group are excellent.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. Dr. Goldberg was extreamly particular in answering all my questions. My surgery on my neck went remarkable. I highly recommend him, and regard him as one of the top neurosurgens in all the upper Nystate area. My surgery was at Bassett Hospital Cooperstown, prior to his relocating to Latham, NY
