Proud to be a principal driving force in the 2008 creation of the Urology Group of New Jersey (UGNJ), a large multi-county practice, Dr. Eric Seaman has earned a reputation as a leader in the field of male fertility care. Specializing in microsurgical vasectomy reversal, microsurgical sperm retrieval, varicocelectomy, medical treatment for infertility, and vasectomy, he strives to do whatever he can to give patients the best chances of achieving their goals. “I provide care tailored to the needs of the patient or couple, as well as care that will fulfill the expectations of the physicians or others who refer to my office,” he says. “When I meet with patients, I try to explain medical issues in terms they can understand and I involve them in deciding which treatment to pursue.”
A past president of UGNJ, Dr. Seaman recently moved from the practice’s West Orange location to its Millburn office, which offers treatment for a comprehensive range of urologic concerns, including male and female sexual dysfunction, robotic surgery and urologic oncology. He teams with Dr. Stuart Shoengold, Dr. Alan Strumeyer, Dr. Alan Helfman, Dr. Merritt Cohen and Dr. Rahuldev Bhalla. Board certified in urology and fellowship trained in male reproductive medicine and surgery, Dr. Seaman has been recognized repeatedly as a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor.

I was first introduced to Dr Seaman 15+ years ago with my first issue with kiddney stones..We were similar in age and treated me as an equal and walked me through the process...several years later I once again had stones, and once again I reached out to Dr Seaman, and once again he outstanding...recently I wanted to go for a check-up with him, and had no issue with making an appointment within 2 weeks, and once I arrived I was seen by a nurse within 15 min, and the Dr shortly after that. He spent time with me and I never felt rushed....while his specialty has focused more on fertility, he still has time and knowlege to assist me..Thanks!
