I have brought my children to this office several times, but this will be the last. I sincerely hate to write a bad review, but I have to be honest. The office is filthy; smells of urine and mold, bathrooms are dirty, paper peeling off of walls in the waiting area, and walls and chairs are dirty. I have been assured that the dental equipment is sanitized, but some of the ways they get the tools and equipment is not sanitary at all. I usually get a call or a card from the Small Smiles office to remind me about upcoming cleanings or appointments, but sometime you have to waits weeks or even months before the dental work is completed. By the time they got around to seeing one of my children the tooth was so bad it nearly needed a root canal. Their equipment is fairly current, nothing special though. Some of their staff is friendly, but a lot of them don't really go out of their way to help the patient or parent feel welcome and comfortable. I ask to go back every time with my children because they do not feel comfortable going back by themselves, and my oldest child has had a bad experience with one of the doctors being by abrupt and he hurt her mouth terribly. He also did a terrible job on filling a cavity, and we will probably have to have it redone somewhere else. Whenever I ask to go back it is treated with a "huff", and I'll see if we can find a room. I can tell it really irks them to have to get a room for them rather than putting them in the large communal area to do dental work, and where the parent can only watch through a window if they choose. The only doctors I could truly recommend is Dr. Patricia and Dr. Eunice. Dr. Patricia is by far the best doctor there, and has a wonderful chair side manner. She is the one shining star of Small Smiles! That all said, I would still strongly recommend that If you can possibly see another dental office it would be in your and your child's best interest. I am personally signing up for a dental discount plan just so I can take my children somewhere else....even if I have to pay some out of pocket, or put it on a credit card; which I hate to have t do.

This office was very dirty. The restrooms were nasty. We waited FOREVER to get seen... They refused to do X-rays on my youngest son bc he was crying bc they didn't let me go back with him at first. We didn't have a good expeirence. We will not be returning.
