On my appt 3/1/2013, I was scheduled to have three fillings. My appointment was at 3pm, in which I was in the chair by 3:30ish. The Dr. begin to numb my mouth with three separate injections into my jaw, he waited roughly ten minutes or so and began work on my first filling, after he successfully drilled a hole in my tooth, the Dr and his assistant disappeared for almost 2 hours, I became rigid and upset because I could feel my jaw coming back to life, which meant the meds were starting to wear off....I also saw the duo working between at least 4 other patients during this time frame. As you can guess when the Dr decided to return to my chair..AFTER all of the patients in the entire office were taken care of and had gone home...he begin to drill on my second tooth and it shot so much pain up my jaw I jumped up...he then told me I needed another injection, which was NOT going to happen, because I wasnt going to pay for another injection when the first wore off awaiting services from the Dr and I had already been there for 3 hours! Completely unconcerned the Dr stated "you will have to come back and get that one done"...no apology or anything. Needless to say as he completed working on the other two teeth, my mouth was no longer numb and the pain so was unbearable I begin to cry...still no words of sympathy from he Dr. When he was finished he kept pressuring me to make another appointment for the tooth he didn't complete work on because he drilled on it a bit and was "concerned"...I talked to the manager who told me she would "voice my concerns" with the Dr. I got my X-rays printed and ran outta there as fast as I could. I will NEVER RETURN TO A MONARCH DENTAL AND WILL MAKE AS MANY FORMAL COMPLAINTS TO CORPORATE AS WELL AS AETNA!

Not at all, it was very peaceful and quiet

Not at all! They always have my best interest in mind

No, if they had music on it was very soothing
Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit?
Not one bit! I felt much better when I left!
