I was referred to Dr. Merrill by my neighbor. At the time I had been looking for a new dentist. So I thought to give him a try and he's the best dentist I have ever gone to. He listens attentively to my concerns, explains all my options completely and is very thorough. His office staff and hygienists are gentle and kind and always smile. I needed a new crown and it took only one office visit since he makes them right there instead of outsourcing to a dental lab and my crown is a perfect fit. My new bridge was outsourced to a dental lab and that came back with a super fit too. I feel Dr. Merrill is conservative with my dental care, only repairing / replacing what is absolutely needed. If you live in the southern Lorain county area or very western part of Medina county, his is worth the drive to New London.

The staff is so friendly and very patient. I have severe anxiety and they were very reassuring and patient with me. They are very polite and always greet you by your first name. They make you feel like a person, rather than just a number. I wish more doctors would act this way.
