My mother, 77 years old, has "Dr." Hawkins for her physician. She was not well and was told by his staff that they were too busy, she should go to urgent care in Hastings. I took her there, they sent her to Pennock, where we spent 6 hours, to be told, after many tests, that there was nothing they could do for the excruciating pain in her back and leg. They told her to see her physician Monday or Tuesday (this started on a Friday). when "Dr." Hawkins was called, they told her that she could not get in to see the doctor for 10 days. I myself called his office, sure that this was a mistake. I explained the situation to them, sequence of events, etc and they still said sorry, 10 days till an appointment. Is this the kind of "caring" physician you want?????????????????????????? We have deceided to seek help elsewhere, but be warned if your parents are using this physician!
