Dr. Herman is rude, rude, rude!!! Totally unprofessional in both his appearance and his demeanor. Always runs behind on his appointments and then is totally condescending and obnoxious when he is dealing with you. Will not go the extra mile for his patients. Anything that is outside of his agenda is an inconvenience. Definitely NOT a people person!!!! Not really sure how this man can be in the business of helping people when apparently he could use some help himself.

Dr. Herman is a very good psychiatrist. I am a patient with severe bipolar disorder. I suffered for a long time and even went as far as to have ECT treatments which did not help me. Usually ECT treatments are used as a last resort when medications do not work. But Dr. Herman's unique approach to psychiatry was able to make the stable with medication and finally feel good. He is the best psychiatrist I have ever had and will continue to stay under his care as long as possible.
