First of all, good luck trying to get an appointment every 6 months. They are the worst with booking appointments in a timely manner. Secondly, I don't know how many times my family and I have counted how many seconds that the doctor is actually in the room to see you. It's a running joke. Finally one day that they told me that I needed a root canal, I stopped him in his tracks to actually explain what was happening with my tooth with the x-ray. Thankfully, I did get more than 10 seconds of his time this time. Luckily, I had another insurance policy and went to see a different dentist to see if I really needed a root canal since I was skeptical since I'm young and take good care of my teeth. When I went to the other provider, he told me I had a tiny cavity. In the meantime, Associated Dentists kept calling me non stop to book appointments for the root canal (probably because they know they could make more money off of me with a bigger procedure). In conclusion, I experienced a whole new world of quality dental care by going to a new dentist (where the dentist speaks to you/gets to know you and the cleanings last more than 5 minutes/ and you get to know what's really happening with your teeth!) The other office I went to really put Associated Dentists to shame.

This was a few years ago but when I saw Dr. Kmak's name, I felt something should be said and that my opinion/experience might assist others. I had a total of 5 appts to see Dr. Kmak. I had never met him before and I think the 1st 2 appts were with his nurse telling me what needed to be done to my teeth since I hadn't done a good job taking care of them. On the 3rd appt, a man came in with a surgical mask on and never introduced himself but I am guessing it was Dr. Kmak. More pain, more insults from the assistant to the effect that we all have pain, some people are more mature in the manner they handle it. By the last time I went to see Dr. Kmak, the tears were already running down my face while I was still in my car in the parking lot and I couldn't force myself to go in - for either the pain or the insults. I went home and called Dr. Kmak's office and told them to send the bills to my insurance but that I was not coming back. Incredibly they never did bill my insurance company. I'm thinking they knew they treated me poorly and didn't want to go into it any further. My advice is to stay away from any doctor who doesn't think you are important enough for him to take his mask off and introduce himself before he starts climbing into your mouth with sharp instruments.
