They answered most of my questions but I could have used more information. Their staff was friendly enough, but they didn't go out of their way to help me. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions. They were so concerned about the income in the household I was living in. I'm staying at a friend's house right now and tried to explain that but they weren't hearing it. At this point I guess I will just stay crazy because when I left I felt worse off than when I first arrived. Gee Whiz!

Sometimes they were very helpful and sometimes they were downright rude. It was free for me based on my income (no income at all!) I couldn't stand my psychiatrist or my social worker, both were condescending and patronizing. They treated me like some kind of drug addict trying to get drugs out of them. The social worker talked down to me when she said anything at all, and always said things like "Are WE feeling suicidal today?" There is always a long wait to be seen, though some visits were better than others. I tried to change staff, but was denied. I finally quit going and have not had mental treatment for 6 years. I need to go back (again, no income or insurance) so I'm going to try again. Hopefully this time I will get a caring social worker and psychiatrist. If not I'll just go back home and stay crazy again like I have for the past 6 years. The medicine is also free if you are as pitiful as me and have no insurance, medicaid or income. Hopefully it will be better this time around.
