I met Dr. Driscoll on the worst day of my life. She delivered my still born son. My son was the product of a sloppy, neglectful doctor, Dr. Jane Lyons. Dr. Driscoll came into my hospital room when I was ready to start pushing, put her hand on my shoulder and expressed how sorry she was. When I was pushing I noticed that she herself was crying. After I delivered, she went out to the waiting room where my family was sitting and from what they said, she hugged my mother and mother-in-law and shook my father and brother-in-laws hand. It took her several moments to compose herself before she started telling them how everything went and how I was doing.
She came back several times that day since she was the doctor on call; to see how my husband and I were doing. Before she left for the day she handed my mother her business card and said "If you feel like you aren't getting the care your daughter needs, here is my cell phone and you call me at any time and I will make sure she's taken care of."
The following morning (a Saturday) she wasn't on call at all, but came by to see how I was. She said that she and her husband were on their way to visit their son in Cedar Falls and wanted to check on me. She sat and talked with us for almost an hour. She laid out her plan of what she would do if she was our doctor and we decide to try again for a baby, which was nice and comforting to hear. The nurse that day told us that she herself was a nurse before coming a doctor. And it was very evident in her kindness and compassion. I have now switched doctors and plan to have her as my doctor going forward.

Dr. Driscoll does not listen to her pts wants or needs and feel she knows best even when the pt is a health care provider as well. I stopped scheduling aptd with Dr. Driscoll amd started going to her ARNP who was awesome but unfourtunately works under Driscoll. I will not be returning due to even more issues. Canceled appointments by their office staff somehow and having to schedule multiple visits for what should have been 1 visit. Unnecessary work ups that I had already told her what I was certain the cause was. (Was proved correct later). I will not say she herself is a bad doctor but she does not listen to her patients and in my opinion also makes th deal with unnecessary stress and pain. The office is great and worka well with you.
