I had a drooping eyelid that Dr.Farris did an eyelid reduction on. The first time I saw him he was very friendly. My surgery was a Blepharoplasty.

The day after the surgery, 12:30 pm,
I was sent home with an ice pack and a cream for my eye to keep it moist.

At 6:30 pm, I could not keep the ice pack on my eye as it was excruciating to even touch the eye. I call Dr. Farris and asked him if the stitches were scratching the cornea? He said probably and that after the night the pain should go down. Take Tylenol he suggested. I took four Tylenol every four hours all night.

Now I have been in a fire and know pain. If I could have ripped my eyelid off I would have. I did everything that Dr. Fariss told me, even to quit smoking for three weeks. Prior to the surgery. (I went back to smoking as I had something to take my mind off of my eye).

I saw Dr. Farris at 8:30 pm the next day. I asked the Nurse if I could get a pain pill. She said she would write this on the chart. Dr.Farris came in and looked at my eye.

He named another surgery for my bottom lid as if we had already talked about it. I don’t know why he did not do these to at the same time, same eye He then said see you in a week. He was on the computer and said you can leave now unless you want to watch me on the computer.

Nothing was said about the pain, ever. He was so cold I could not believe it.
I will go back in one week, but he will not touch me again.

I would not go back but this surgery is already done. If I have my bottom lid done, it will not be by Dr.Farris.

This is my experience but I don’t feel that I am the only patient. Take your chances with him.
