it was AWFUL!! I have never been to an office that was so rude! They make you jump through hoops to prove that you have insurance (because they have no idea how to do their jobs) and after inconveniencing you for days while you do their jobs for them they treat you like a second class citizen. I was told things like "We don't make phone calls." and "if you don't like they way you are being treated to file a complaint with medicaid." In addition the office manager is very confrontational and insults you openly in the waiting room. I guess if you have money this place would treat you well, but those in need will be treated poorly. I am speaking from personal experience. Please don't support this so called "care" facility.

I ended up spending quite a bit for my visit. They were very expensive. They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. They do not keep the restrooms well-stocked here. No paper towels, toilet paper, or even a toilet seat cover! I had nothing to clean up with. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. The chairs in their waiting room weren't the best but they served their purpose and I couldn't complain.
Dr. Ballestas was very disrespectful to both myself and my family member. He was absolutely too prideful and condescending to be able to deal with. I have numerous medical conditions and instead of admitting that he was unable to juggle everything he decided to degrade and berate us and tell me to not take so much medication (all of which are necessary for my medical conditions). After a visit to his office I was literally in tears. His nurse practitioner is excellent, but Ballestas lacks any kind of bedside manner. Between him and his "nurse" Ulna, it's heck trying to visit this office. Michael, the NP, makes up for it though.
