Dr. Larry Shulruff is a professional in every sense of the word. He answers all my questions completely and I have confidence that he knows what he's talking about. Occasionally when he doesn't know the answer, he instantly looks it up on his pocket computer. He's also communicative and friendly, probably the best doctor I've ever known in this category.
I've been seeing Dr. Shulruff for about 10 years and I'm convinced he's the best in his field at what he does.
Plus, he's a hell of a nice guy.

My husband has been a patient of Dr. Shulruffs for many YEARS, I became a patient of Dr. Shulruffs two years ago and sadly each contact with Dr. Shulruffs office has left us less and less enthusiastic and more perplexed. The wait time (once you reach the front desk and can get an appointment) is ridiculous, We've never waited less than 45 minutes.

This morning I called to schedule an appointment, I had a TRUE emergency and was told by Linda that the Dr. had no time to see me as he was completely booked with new patients... How wonderful, Dr. Shulruff that your front desk thinks you have so many new patients that you don't have any time for your existing, long standing, loyal patients. What really got me was Linda's lack of compassion? problem solving skills? presence? attention? effort to try and work me in? schedule me for the following day? No, she tells me to go somewhere else....

Done. Gone. Good by Dr. Shulruff. I contacted a specialist. Dr. Sukenik, my husbands ENT who worked me right in, within a couple of hours on top of new patients. The receptionist of A SPECIALIST worked me right in!!

What is so perplexing is that my husband (a cancer survivor treated here in Hollywood at Memorial Hospital and my self who has had several surgeries at Memorial Hospital) all under the primary care of Dr. Shulruff, when disclosing who our primary physician is before treatment or surgery, every one raves about you Dr. Shulruff...

... which is why I find it so disappointing to be switching to a new primary care who wants my business and more importantly wants to take care of me/us with compassion and accessibility.
