Dr. Fabricant agreed to help me see better. I was driving and reading but just had a few issues to correct. He then turned me over to his associates at the Upland office. His associate, Dr. Nathan Rudometkin, proceeded to detach my right retina and didn't tell me for one year what went wrong in surgery. This delay in repairing the mistake caused it to be detached permanently. I have completely lost my right eye due to Dr. Rudometkin. One year later while there for another reason, Dr. Rudometkin blinded my other eye with faulty flash photography. Dr. Fabricant, owner and senior surgeon, won't respond to any letters, won't return any phone calls, and I am now without both eyes because of the work done on me at the Pacific Eye Institute in Upland. I was warned by another patient there (who also was blinded there) but I ignored the warning. What a mistake! You will love this place if everything goes well. If it doesn't and they blind you, they will completely ignore you and won't have anything to do with you. It is uncomprehensible how they have totally ignored someone that they blinded for life. Denise, the office manager, just said, "sue us". Unbelievable. I now have 10% sight thanks to Dr. Rudometkin at the Pacific Eye Institute in Upland. Dr. Fabricant won't help at all or respond. I have placed countless phone calls and written countless letters for help but Dr. Fabricant won't respond.
