Endocrinologist by definition is a "physician who specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions that are related to the endocrine system. They are concerned with the glands and hormone production. They work to correct problems stemming from over and under production of hormones or the body's inability to properly produce hormones." Dr. Duick had me come in multiple times for a thyroid issue that should have been resolved in 1 maybe 2 visits. His delay in procedure led me to a very aggressive styroid treatment which I do not like, pain and multiple co payments. He will not discuss anything to do with hormones and when I ask questions related to my condition his pattent answer is "that's the way you were made", nothing you can do, it's just who you are". each time i saw him, he couldn't remember the prior situation and I had to remind him. He boarders rude and after 3 months and multiple ultra sounds and visits, the procedure he assured me would resolve the issue was refused me. I will not return and I would not recommend him to anyone. I'm sure he's a very intelligent Dr., but I think he's too old and doesn't want to do any endocronology aside from thyroid issues. I have a lot of hormone issues and he won't even discuss them and tells me to see my gynocologist!!!
