Sandro LaRocca, MD

Dr. LaRocca is a graduate of Temple University with a B.S., cum laude, in mechanical engineering. He received his medical doctorate from The Jefferson Medical College and completed his orthopaedic residency at The Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. His training in spinal surgery, throughout residency, included pediatric scoliosis training at Shriner's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia. He also completed fellowship training at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts obtaining intensive experience in all aspects of spine surgery including complex spinal reconstruction as well as the clinical management of disorders of the neck and back. Dr. LaRocca's training is international, as he has had the privilege of visiting with the distinguished Professor Jurgen Harms at the Klinicum Karlsbad-Langensteinbach in Karlsbad, Germany. Dr. Harms is a world renowned surgeon, innovator, and educator in spinal surgery. Dr. LaRocca has received awards in resident teaching and orthopaedic research. He has presented numerous Grand Rounds in the field of spine surgery at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and at the New England Baptist Hospital. Additionally, he has authored and presented research at national meetings including the North American Spine Society.

this is the best place you can go.
the staff make me feel welcome and help me with all my questions and take time to expalin everything in detail about my surgery.
Dr. Sandro LaRocca explain me what was wrong with my back and when I was ready he was very happy to help me.
My surgery was on Friday, I saw him before going to the OR and he spoke to my family after the surgery, he even visit me all the days i stay at the hospital, to see how I was doing.
My surgery went very smoothly and I am very happy with the results thanks to this amazing people.
