I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was somewhat worried to get out of my car but not here. I felt no pressure to undergo a surgery; on the contrary, Dr. Shogun recommends physical therapy, the Rose Pain Clinic (I loved Tanya Orsynsky) and other conservative treatments first. I believe all employees in the office are extremely professional, competent , friendly and accommodating. Every time I come here they always remember me by name and greet me as soon as I walk in the door, even if it's been months since my last appointment. They are so thoughtful and amazingly sweet, I just love this place. Although I have never had anything to complain about, I know that they always adhere to the customer is always right policy here. They take any complaint very seriously and strive to ensure that clients leave satisfied with their visit each and every time. In addition, when my husband was advised to consent to an 8 hour surgery, Dr. Shogun was willing to put an x-stop at L-4-5 and that procedure solved the difficulty. With a great sense of humor, Dr. Shogun agreed that he'd overestimated the need for the longer surgery. We both love his humility, an uncommon trait in our experience with neurosurgeons. Dr. Shogun has successfully fused portions of my neck and back... both of which are much improved. He "caught" a terribly painful problem where "spondles" (sp?) had broken loose in my spinal canal and kept clipping the spinal cord. Each "clip" led to me falling on my face. (PS I made a mistake in answering at least one of the questions in your questionnaire. I believe Dr. Shogun is the best neurosurgeon in a five state region and I understand that many fellow neurosurgeons agree with me too.
