I have been treated by Dr. Savage twice and cannot recommend this physician or this practice highly enough. Dr. Savage is honest & direct in his evaluations, but took the time to listen to all my concerns. I've spoken to many people with disc problems that have not had great results even with surgical intervention. I might just be lucky, but I attribute my good back health to the skill of this neurosurgeon and his team. I'm "2 for 2" with successful laminectomy surgeries (different discs & 5 years apart), never required physical therapy afterwards and truly owe my life to Dr. Douglas Savage.

They've never dismissed any of my concerns as unimportant, and take every concern of mine very seriously. Not only do my appointments never get canceled last minute, they take time out of their day to send me a reminder so I don't forget. They are extremely reliable. They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They always dress so professionally here, the entire staff obviously makes an effort to look their best and maintain a very professional appearance. My only area of concern is that the contact with Dr. Savage feels rushed when I have had an appointment. I spend time with the PA initially, and he then comes in to see me for a few minutes. There are times when he's made statements as he is walking out the door that I have warranted further discussion, in my opinion.
