Avoid this place like the plague! I took my daughter there for constipation and diarrhea hoping to get some answers. I found that Dr. Laurance was not a very good listener and was argumentative in his questioning as if I don't know what I'm seeing from the child I'm raising. He recommended I put her back on formula even though she is more than a year old. Just unheard of! Especially for a child who is already dealing with constipation... Everyone knows that formula causes constipation. He was only concerned with treating her symptoms rather than getting to the root of the issue. The day before we were to return for another appointment after getting labs done, we were called and told that we were not a good fit and to find another GI. I was told that "he sees more than 30 patients per day" and doesn't have time to spend on our child.

Dr. Laurance knows what he is talking about. He is the best around. If you have a child/teenager, he is right on the button with a diagnosis. There is no waiting for a month for a follow up appointment, he wants to see them in two weeks; and if the patient is experiencing issues to call him immeidiately. They always make an extra effort to be polite and courteous. I was completely at ease during my appointment here. They went to great lengths to make sure I was completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. I would have no problem giving them a recommendation. If anyone needed a gastroenterologist, I would direct them here.
