Very happy with my visit to Dr. Stein. His front desk was courteous -- greeted me when I arrived. I was taken into the first room at my appointment time and Dr. Stein sat with me and discussed what he would be doing. It was my first time and I was nervous! His calm manner and obvious experience really put my mind at ease. The actual procedure went well - very relaxed and smooth. The assistants were all very nice and explained my follow up carefully. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend Dr. Stein to others.

Office was professional. Questions were answered,explanations given and call-back phone calls were returned. That was the only positives. A simple extraction turned into a sinus/dental nightmare for me going on for over a year. Since I am in the medical profession I have a better understanding of how things should be done the right way. I am 100% convinced(and I have confirmed this with other oral surgeons) that a far-to-aggressive extraction was the cause of a rupture of the sinus floor and tearing out a potion of bone(the buccal plate) which led to a massive sinus infection and later alot of bone loss. Afterwards he decided I was no longer a candidate for a dental implant(the original plan). It seemed like he was afraid to attempt anything that wasn't going to be easy. This was fine with me since at that point I would never let him touch me again.
I eventually found a competent surgeon who successfully placed an implant. Lesson to be learned; a nice guy does not equal good surgeon.
Choice wisely.
