Where do I even begin? I had battled my weight for as long as I can remember. By the time I was 19 I was about 250 pounds. I started exercising and watching what I ate and was able to drop down to a stable 170. Even though losing 80 pounds is a huge accomplishment my mirror reflected something different entirely. I had developed stretch marks from the top of my breasts, down the front of my abdomen, into my pubic area, around my hips, and down the length of my back on either side. There was no amount of exercise that could ever take away the loose skin I had created. I had no idea what being thin felt like. Sure, I had done a tremendous amount of work, at times getting as low as 150 lbs,, wearing a size 8, but regardless of what the scale said I still never felt comfortable in my skin.
15 years ago I consulted a plastic surgeon about a tummy tuck, but I wasn’t comfortable with him; he didn’t take the time to really talk with me about ME, and his demeanor was that of a classic stereotype of plastic surgeons. I ultimately did not go through with the procedure because I felt uncomfortable in general.
Fast forward to early 2013. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. I started researching on line about surgical procedures and surgeons. I initially thought I HAD to find the BEST and that the best would be one of those surgeons we have all seen on reality television. I could not have been more wrong! The more I researched each of those “TV surgeon’s”, the more I found that their arrogant reputation preceded many of them. The last thing I wanted was to feel like another number in a surgeon’s bank account. I got discouraged but kept looking at reviews on line.
When I came across Dr. Lee’s website I knew I had to meet him. I loved the fact that he was a husband and a father, and that he has a very impressive resume, which includes being a classically trained violinist! My first visit to his office solidified my gut feeling. First of all his staff is so personable and friendly. He is very lucky to have such warm women work for him. Feeling important is a tremendous plus when considering elective surgery. Dr. Lee took time with me to discuss my options, what exactly he would do, and he even drew diagrams of how my breasts would be lifted, where my scars would be placed, where my drains would be placed, etc. He was gentle, humble and calming (which was huge for me because I was a nervous wreck!)
The day of surgery I cried the whole way to the surgical center. I was a wreck. I have a 5 year-old daughter and kept thinking the worst. My fiancé drove me and he did his best to keep my mind busy. The staff at the surgical center, including the anesthesiologist, was amazing: compassionate, warm, thoughtful… and I felt comfortable immediately. When I woke up I felt no pain, they made sure of that! And the night staff – all I can say is UNBELIEVEABLE! Dr. Lee requires his patients to spend one night, and I’m so glad he does! The nurses with me that night went above and beyond for me.
My results are beyond my wildest expectations! I look in the mirror and just cannot believe this is my body. Dr. Lee and his staff have been attentive to every single detail of my pre and post op care and I attribute my successful healing to his instructions and to my following them!
I am 8 weeks post op this week and am thrilled with Dr. Lee, his technique, his staff, and my results. I would recommend Dr. Lee and his office to my grandmother, mother, sister, friend, coworker, stranger, etc. If you are considering a tummy tuck, breast lift, or mommy makeover lwith Dr. Lee trust your instincts! You will not be disappointed!

I am very happy that I chose Dr. Lee to perform my breast lift with implants. He and his staff are very warm and welcoming. Dr. Lee was very informative and reassuring. I will reccomend Dr. Lee to anyone looking for cosmetic procedures. Thank you Dr. Lee!
