Over the past 7 years, I have been to several neurologists, but none compare to Dr. Donald McCarren. He is knowledgeable, professional, and warmly "HUMAN." Dr. McCarren understands that the importance of establishing and maintaining a doctor/patient team in the care of a patient. While I am NOT a doctor, I AM listened to, heard, communicated with, and recognized as the intelligent person who lives in the body that Dr. McCarren will treat.

My communications with Joanne in the office are always pleasant and helpful as well. Visiting Dr. McCarren and his staff is like getting together with friends! I have recommended this office and will continue to do so!

Dr. McCarren is top notch. He is personable, very knowledgable and down to earth. He established rapport with me immediately as he really listened to what I was saying, not hiding behind a computer or a tablet. I felt very confident with his medical knowledge, even outside of his area of expertise. He was thorough, addressed all my questions, and even initiated a call to my endocrinologist to discuss some complicating factor to help my diagnosis. The last this I have to say is I feel he is very practical and I like that a lot. Highly recommend.
