I was so happy with the friendliness of this doctor. This provider has very little helpful information available online. I didn't really feel respected by the front office clerk. I do not like their billing practices, or lack there of when called and told by a receptionist that I owed money, but that they do not send out statements or invoices. So how would I know there was a balance due, and I like to pay my bills the day I receive them. She said I received something from my insurance company, but I explained I had not received anything from them and she said they do not send statements or invoices, If you are not going to send bills, they how do you expect to get paid. When I did get something it had my name on it and a balance due, it did not have the company name or any detail about my services.

Dr, Bekele basically saved my life. I went to him (a 19 mile drive but worth it) for a second opinion after another doctor said I had thyroid cancer and had to have my thyroid removed. He had me take a Sestimibi scan that uncovered, NOT thyroid cancer but lung cancer. If I had not gone to him I'd have had my thyroid out and a year or two later would have had inoperable lung cancer. He is obviously very attuned to what his patients need. Needless to say he became my doctor of choice.
Unfortunately he no longer takes my insurance and I've had to find help elsewhere. I'd still go to see him if I could.
