I have seen Sr. Berk on 4 occasions. He doesn't leave a scratch when he removed waxy moles and skin tags and other blemishes. He is very conscientious. My husband visited him a month ago for the first time for eczema and Dr. Berk saw 4 lesions that could be basal cell carcinoma. They were biopsied and 3 were cancerous. He did a good job removing them. He explains things that he is going to do and likes to educate people.

I trust Dr. Berk. I like his no-nonsense approach. I have skin tags as my primary issue and waxy moles as secondary. He managed my care from appointment to apointment and monitored my skin condition and changes. I have not found another dermatologist that comes close to taking care of my skin tags like Dr. Berk. What do I use as a criteria when evaluating a new dermatologist? - whether they use liquid nitrogen like Dr. Berk to burn them off. Other dermatologists use something they spray from a can and it just doesn't work. I'd rather use something off the shelf than pay appointment rates for someone to spray me with a can that cannot approach the temperature of liquid nitrogen.
