I started going to Kevin Dand a year ago. His office is small but clean and tidy. He is a 'one man operation' which I have no problem with. He seems like a decent chiropractor even tho he was not able to help me with my back pain. Not once did he do an adjustment. He uses an actuator and realigns with that. Not quite what I need, and I was in more pain after seeing him.

The reason that I no longer go to him is his book keeper. Completely worthless. It has been almost 1 year and I am still waiting for my refund from over paying on my first few visits. I asked him about my insurance refund 7 months ago and he told me that my insurance paid him and that I can keep MY money in HIS bank account and just use it for my deductible the next year. I told him that is not acceptable and that I would prefer to keep MY money in MY bank account. It has been 11 months and do you think he has refunded MY money? NOPE!
We have swapped numerous text messages. I have asked him to call me and he sends me another text message. ~frustrating~
His book keeper is impossible to deal with, so the only option left is litigation.

I can't speak for his ability to diagnose or professional skills. The front office is completely inept and incapable of resolving billing issue nor simply returning phone calls. Beware of this office when making your Chiropractic choices in San Clemente.
