I only wish they were in my state so I could have gone to them directly!

I asked Integrative Psychiatry about basic instructions for certain tests I was interested in taking. I was told that Integrative Psychiatry had no knowledge of basic testing instructions for very expensive tests for which they give their doctor's orders. They stated the instructions are in the boxes that they don't have access to and therefore they don't know that information. They also said instructions should be very simple and not to worry. I wanted to know how to plan ahead so tests could be done in a timely, efficient manner. Once I received my test in the mail, it stated that for women with menstrual cycles, saliva must be collected on day 19, 20 or 21 of your cycle. Since I received this test on day 22 of my cycle, now I have to wait another month before I can even take the sample. Had I know this basic information, I could have made sure to order the test in time. Integrative Psychiatry needs to take some responsibility for the tests they order and give patients necessary planning information.
