He worked in a State Hospital setting as Director of the Substance Abuse Program for approximately 10 years and was employed by the Pennsylvania State Police as the Department Psychologist for about 10 years. He was a Senior Lecturer of Psychology at a Community College in Pennsylvania for about 20 years and served as the Clinical Director of the Dauphin County Critical Incident Stress Management Team from 1994 - 2003.

Dr. Walker has over 25 years of experience in the field of Psychology and Mental Health. He has a M.S. Degree in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. He is a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Nationally Certified Counselor, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (Florida), and Licensed Psychologist (Pennsylvania, California, and Georgia). Dr. Walker is a member of the American Psychological Association, Georgia Psychological Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Police Psychological Services Section, and the National Tactical Officer Association, Hostage Negotiation Section.Dr. Walker has worked in Private Practice since 1984.
