Avoid this man. Dr. Owen dropped our son as a patient because Dr. Owen wanted him to go to a particular treatment facility that is not covered by our insurance, and which we could not afford. If you have lots of money or the right insurance, you may be able to meet Dr. Owen's requirements, and good luck to you. If you live in the real world, you may find his rigid approach to be problematic. His rejection of our son was another traumatic event in a very difficult week--save yourself from that, is my advice. Perhaps Dr. Owen gets a kickback from the facility he insists on, and that's why he's so insistent? No way to know, but not a situation you want to be in.
