I have suffered from very severe migraines for many years. The pain is so strong it sometimes causes me to throw up, I shake violently, I sob racking tears, and it is very scary not understanding what could cause such violent pain. I have done lots of research online about what can cause migraines and different treatment options. Almost everything I brought up Dr. Bender looked at me like I was out of my mind. I mentioned a drug trial for a treatment that has been used for many years in Europe and Canada- I received the same look like I was insane and he said "NEVER". He never explained why the things I said supposedly weren't legitimate... All he wanted to do was pump me full of pills, he was completely unwilling to hear any ideas for anything else. The women who answer the phone were also very rude.

The staff told another patient that because he missed one appointment years ago, he was banned from ever being seen by Drs. Bender or Wurst. Because malpractice was committed against me by an oral surgeon and I filed a complaint with the Board of Health, Dr. Bender treated me like the enemy and brushed me off, refusing to help me in any way. There are no written questionnaires for new patients. Dr. Bender was extremely arrogant and uncaring. He patronized me and didn't listen to anything I said. Dr. Bender took my money and sent me away, ignoring clear signs of nerve damage.
