I have been seeing Dr. Weiner for several years for arthritis pain. He has most recently given me a prescription for Lipiderm, an anesthetic cream that I apply to my painful neck. It is very effective and relieves the pain for 6 to 8 hours . The only problem I have experienced is that it causes the skin to become scaly and itchy. I have applied an over the counter skin cream that helps, but is not entirely satisfactory.
